The Deluxe Edition from GoDaddy allows you to sell up to 100 products. Among those 100 products you can sell both physical and digital goods. You also get 1GB of storage space, and are allowed 50GB of monthly bandwidth. To double both storage space and bandwidth as well as be able to sell an unlimited number of products, you can upgrade to the Premium Edition.

Ease of Setup:  

GoDaddy is easy to use and quick to setup. You can utilize Excel import/export to get your products up quickly, and you can use a wizard to setup your store, choosing from 88 templates. Upload photos, set up your ordering method, and you’re pretty much good to go.

Ease of Use:  

With all sorts of integration, GoDaddy is easy to use. You’ll get automatic submission of your products to Google Product Search. You can also list your products on eBay. GoDaddy works with payment gateways like Merchant Services, PayPal, Authorize.net, and VeloCT.

Receiving payments is easy as well. You will be able to accept transactions from credit cards (in real-time), echecks, and COD orders. After your customers check out, you will be able to track their orders, calculate shipping and taxes, and assure they get their orders on time.

Fraud Protection:  

Quick Shopping Cart from GoDaddy features an IP Country Match feature that lets you avoid fraud behind the scenes. You will need to purchase an SSL certificate if you want to accept credit card payments.

GoDaddy is not the best eCommerce option, but it certainly has its perks. The Deluxe Shopping Cart is missing some nice features like integration with affiliate programs and gift cards or gift wrapping options, but still has plenty to offer. With no transaction fees and a low initial price, it’s a good offer, but keep in mind that you’ll still need to purchase an SSL certificate and arrange for a payment gateway.
